Residents at St George's benefit from reduced noise in their restaurant

The restaurant and bistro in this retirement complex in East Sussex were uncomfortably noisy. Multiple conversations taking place in these communal areas were making it difficult for the residents to understand a conversation with someone at their own table. In turn, this problem caused people to raise their voices in order to be understood, which further increased the noise levels in both areas.

Acoustic Comfort solved this problem with the application of Reverb 25 over the entire ceiling in the bistro and four panels above decorative lighting islands on the ceiling in the restaurant.  The white fabric covering is unobtrusive and does not detract from the existing design of the two areas, but has created a comfortable acoustic environment in which residents can socialise.
