Our approach
Acoustic Comfort provides a comprehensive and complimentary consultancy service for every client. From the outset this is tailored to meet individual needs and often involves an initial site visit and written report of acoustic issues, together with relevant solutions. Our specialist staff have extensive experience and knowledge of all aspects of noise issues and sound solutions, but will always recommend a complete survey by an independent acoustician where necessary. Working with an international network of distribution specialists who bring expertise from numerous facilities and related fields, Acoustic Comfort can help from the very start of any project.
New or existing build?
Before consultation can begin we need to establish whether the issue is in an existing building or a project still on the drawing board. For buildings currently under development we need to get involved as soon as possible, working with the architects and designers to minimize acoustic disruption. Within existing buildings a site visit will be required to assess the current acoustic conditions and a survey produced. 70% of our time is spent correcting issues within current spaces.
A simple ABC approach
The science behind acoustics may be complicated but our solutions are simple. Following detailed analysis of the situation, Acoustic Comfort will suggest a bespoke solution to the problem using our successful ABC approach. We have found this combined method to be the only way to achieve the performance most customers require when combating noise problems. A piecemeal approach will always ultimately lead to disappointing results.
Unobtrusive working methods
We recognise the significance of changes to the working environment and the impact that these can have on people who occupy the space. We therefore keep disruption to a minimum and install out of hours where necessary. A keen awareness of the psychology of change has led us to adopt unobtrusive working methods, which ensure that people benefit from the acoustic solution without being disrupted by its installation.
